I did watch Chuck today. (It airs Monday nights on NBC.) It was a great episode. I noted before that this may be the show's best year since the first and it really is shaping up to be that. This one had the woman Sarah was a spy with back on as well as two other women. Chuck was trying to get some friends for Sarah to invite to the wedding.
It didn't work out well for most of the show (as you'd expect). But there were two really nice moments Sarah got with Ellie. And there was a great scene where Sarah was pressuring a bad guy to find out which of her 3 former spies was the mole way back when but Chuck fell through the glass roof. After Chuck shot all the bad guys with tranq darts, Sarah walked over and cut the rope he was hanging from sending him hurtling to the floor. It was funny. (She was mad.)
ANd Morgan had great scenes all the way through. So much so, I really think they should float the actor for a best supporting nomination for the Emmys. He's really been strong this year, you can count on him for laughs and for more to. He's practically Casey Jr. -- Casey being the one on the show who always makes every scene work.
At CounterPunch, Mark Scaramella has a good piece on ObamaCare which concludes, "Obamacare is a classic example of a bad law being worse than no law. And a judicial declaration saying that forcing people to buy bad-to-non-existent health insurance on penalty of fines is unconstitutional is good no matter what the politics of the judge are."
In other news, I think CREW needs to find a real issue to address.
