CUNK ON CINEMA, weird and creepy JD Vance, Idiot Chump

First up, Katie Phang.

Next up some Cunk news

Diane Morgan’s TV interviewer-commentator character Philomena Cunk. Bone dry and deviously stupid, Cunk talks to experts, academics, and historians about all manner of topics, absorbing absolutely none of it. It’s been fun to see Cunk chat her way through the sciences (social and otherwise), but later this year, she’ll turn her focus on something much more our speed: cinema. Coming soon to BBC Two (and to Netflix later this year), Cunk on Cinema is a three-part series that reunites Morgan with longtime collaborator Charlie Brooker (of Black Mirror fame) that will allow Morgan-as-Cunk to explore film from its nascent black-and-white days through the French New Wave up to our current moment.

Can't wait for it.  She is hilarious.

You know who else is hilarious?  Miss Sassy JD Vance.  Only Miss Sassy doesn't mean to be funny.  Maria Villarroel (THE MIRROR) reports

Vice President JD Vance was mocked on social media on Monday after videos showed small crowds at a rally in Kansas following a protester's interruption of his speech.

The vice president appeared in Kansas on Monday to show his support for Sen. Roger Marshall, who is running for re-election in the November midterms. As he made the case for why voters should vote red in November, a protester interrupted the vice president’s remarks.

When cameras panned out in the venue, a small crowd of dozens was featured, quickly raising questions about the vice president’s popularity in a traditionally red state. This comes after Trump snubbed Vance for the second time in days.

He is just too weird and too strange.  Averee Nelson (IRISH STAR) notes:

Vice President JD Vance delivered jokes at a Kansas rally, but viewers seemed distracted by a striking detail unfolding in the crowd.

Vance, 42, seemed to struggle maintaining audience engagement as he pressed forward with his midterm campaigning alongside Republican Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas in the Kansas City area. Republicans are working to maintain voter enthusiasm following the GOP midterm convention in Dallas by dispatching officials, including the vice president, to push campaign initiatives before the pivotal midterm elections.

Yet, Vance's audience on Monday, September 14, didn't seem especially energized. It comes after Fox News viewers brand JD Vance 'a hater' over 7-word Democrat rant.

Again, he's a weirdo.  He doesn't connect with others.  We look at him and wonder what's wrong with him?  It was that way during the 2024 campaign as well.

Meanwhile, crazy idiot Chump just gets more demented.  Lesley Abravanel (OK) reports:

President Donald Trump rejected a New York Times report that exposed severe internal contractor errors during the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool renovation, hitting back at the paper for publishing the story on the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

The friction centers around conflicting explanations for why the pool's new blue liner began peeling and blistering.

On September 11, the NYT published internal documents showing that the project's contractor, Atlantic Industrial Coatings, explicitly admitted that "human oversight" and design errors caused the failure.
The company said workers applied too little primer and layered two chemically incompatible compounds. The top layer heated up beyond what the lower layer could handle, creating massive blisters and tears.

Chump's an idiot.  He's long been a liar but that dementia is making him stupider each day.
