But first up, TV.
I think it was the best episode of the season.
The biggest bad news is that we don't see another episode until December 2nd (due to Thanksgiving, I guess).
We had real Olivia so we were on alternate universe.
Broyles over there? His son was kidnapped by Candyman many years ago. Now Candyman resurfaced. Olivia not only tracked him down and killed him (Candyman), she later realized that he had an accomplice and called Broyles just as the accomplice was attacking Broyles' son.
That may be her needed out.
Olivia realizes that she is from the other side and gets the cab driver who helped her earlier this season to help her make it out to the land around the Statue of Liberty.
So after she's done all of that and made it back to the land and got ready for the isolation tank and taken her shot, she ends up at the gift shop by the Statue of Liberty in her own universe. A cleaning woman sees her and tells her they're closed. Olivia's about to ask her something (I think to unlock the door) but her body tremors and she (Olivia) realizes she's about to be pulled back to the alternate universe. So she starts speaking to the woman.
We next see Olivia with Walternate. She's being pulled out of the tank while he's watching.
Meanwhile, Fake Olivia is in bed with Peter and they're watching Casablanca and she's making mistakes by saying things like she thought Ronald Reagan starred in the film. His phone rings and it's the cleaning woman. Who tells him that Olivia was there but vanished into thin air.
So Peter must be about to realize Fake Olivia is a fake.
It was a good episode.
Now this is the second time Olivia made it to that gift shop and was pulled back.
In both instances, all they needed to do was lift her body out of the isolation tank.
And I'm thinking and besides when she came over to the alternate universe at the end of last season, she went over to visit William Bell at the end of the first season. Her body went with her. And you can remember that if you'll think about how when Bell was done with her, she was suddenly in that car accident.
So I'm wondering what happens next? I think Broyles is going to be helping her. I also think she may be close to being able to transport herself without the isolation tank.
I never wrote about Chuck. Sam e-mailed to tell me I'd forgotten. My bad. It was a long, long week.
Okay, do you remember the big guy who played Gary's brother (maybe half-brother) on Gary Unmarried? He played a CIA doctor on this episode.
Linda Hamilton, playing Chuck's mother, showed Chuck something two episodes ago that wiped away the intersect, remember?
It didn't. It's still there but he's not able to activate it.
It was thought that if he was upset he would be able to flash and utilize the intersect. But a team of people were unable to make it happen so the Gary Unmarried Guy (GUG from now on) was brought in.
He said Chuck was too dependent upon Sarah. GUG and Chuck did a mission. It went wrong and was very dangerous. Sarah was freaking out.
She was right to. GUG died. Shot dead and fell out of the gondala thing that you take to go up a mountain.
Chuck's now kidnapped by the bad guys (led by Richard Chamberlain) and next week we'll find them attempting to torture him and to extract the intersect by removing his brain. Sarah's desperate to find him.
This was a strong episode as well.

And that's it. Have a great weekend. Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
