My grandfather got me a great gift. He wasn't supposed to but he says he got my brothers and sisters gifts until they were thirty so he's going to have to do the same with me and my younger sister. :D That was sweet of him and I would have liked whatever.
But it's actually pretty cool. I had a flash drive with some of my favorite songs on them and one time I was going to play a tune for my great-uncle (my grandfather's brother) but he doesn't have speakers on his computer (and we were at his house). So I got him speakers but my grandfather found a present at the "drug store" (I'm guessing Wal-Greens but it could have been CVS), which is a speaker. It's SoundLogic's Portable Media Speaker. You charge it up and it's got two speakers on the same rectangle object and then you plug in your disc, your flash drive or your MP3 player and it blasts it away. It's got a remote and everything.
He was saying it was okay to not like it but I love it. It's something you can listen to music on and, this is why I'm writing about it, it's a great gift for people who don't have something to play wave files on. Maybe you have a computer but no speakers? Maybe you have a friend who puts stuff on flash drive or a card?
And you can just zap that into the back of the speaker and you're all ready to go.
It's late and I need to get some sleep. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night. :D
