Chuck? Did I forget? Hells yes. Sorry, after the summer, I'm not really used to Monday nights with Chuck on NBC.
But I did watch today and Nicole Richie was one of the two guest stars. I wasn't a Paris and Nicole fan but I do like Nicole when she's on Chuck. (This was her second time.) She plays an old friend/enemy of Sarah's who knew Sarah in school. Like Sarah, she became a spy, but for the other side. So she's an enemy now.
The episode before last ended with Sarah and Chuck in bed and Chuck saying maybe they should get married and have a baby and Sarah looking like she was going to have a heart attack. So that was the subplot. Sarah can't handle that. It's too quick. They're not breaking up or anything but it had freaked her out. (And that's in part because her own life although that was more hinted at.)
So it was a case of Nicole swiping a weapon from another bad guy and then all hell breaking loose underneath the BuyMore. Casey had a few nice moments including when Sarah asked him if he ever thought about seeing his daughter (last year, we learned Casey had a daughter and his cliffhanger was having to save her when bad guys tried to grab her to harm him). Sadly, the Geek Punks were back. Yeah Jeff and Lester. They really bring the show down.
I was really enjoying Morgan until Jeff and Lester showed back up. He got stuck with them for scenes. Morgan was really accomplishing something this season. But now he's got to be dragged back down. That's too bad.
Oh, Nicole Richie knew about Chuck's mother. He wanted to ask her but, at the time, she would have been on camera and Sarah pointed out that then their boss (the general) would know Chuck was looking for his mother.
That was really the whole episode. (Morgan's comic subplot was that a new video game didn't arrive and the customers were going to riot. Without Jeff and Lester, that would have been hilarious.) Oh, Morgan lost Big Mike's ring in the chaos. And Chuck ends up with it and the episode ends with Sarah afraid Chuck's proposing.
Politico reports on Campus Progress' latest nutjob. First off, why do they always want to undress people at Think Progress, Campus Progess, et al?
Why are they perving on young bodies?
Second, where are the people of color? I see approximately ten people. Three are of color. Two are African-American. This is how a left organization self-presents.
Third, it's a dog, it's a dingo dog with fleas.
A bunch of snot nosed kids tell the camera, "I didn't have coverage, now I get to stay on my parent's policy!"
Yeah, cause we're all about dependency in my generation. We're all about wrapping more umbilical cords and apron strings around us.
They have no clue. They're so damn stupid.
Reality: 1% of college students will see this crap and think, "Great!!!!" They were already going to vote. They're nerds.
And on the 15th of this month, I'll tell you how the Democrats blew the youth vote. Stay tuned. (This is what C.I. was explaining and I mentioned it yesterday. The ad Campus Progress is doing only backs up what C.I. told me all the more.)
Here's C.I.'s "Iraq snapshot:"
