I think that comic says everything. In terms of headlines today, nothing made me more excited than seeing Richard Cohen's "Dems plan for a future without Pelosi." A future without Pelosi sounds good to me.
My problems with Pelosi are all the promises she made to win control of the House and how she followed up on none of them.
Add in her decision before the 2006 mid-terms to take impeachment "off the table."
I'm not a Pelosi fan. We might get someone worse in leadership but that can't be much worse is my opinion.
She was a liberal or presented as such and then as she got closer and closer to the Speaker's post she became one huge disappointment. Once she became Speaker, she became a big huge liar.
So I won't miss her. Of course she may not leave. But I'd love it if she left.
