William Bell (originally played by Leonard Nimoy) was still in Olivia. He told Peter not to worry because he knew how to get out.
However, by the end of the episode, he had to admit that wasn't the case. He was briefly out of Olivia for like five seconds.
Okay. When Olivia went to the other side in the last episode of the first season, Bell gave her a cup of tea. In that tea, he placed tiny magnets. When Walter rang that special bell two episodes ago (one?) it summoned Bell's energy and the magnets pulled it into Olivia.
They need to find another host.
At one point, he and Walter were talking about the cow and I guess about getting the cow stoned though I thought Bell was saying he could be in the cow.
So at the end of the episode, Peter goes home to find Walter asleep on the couch. Bell calls from the kitchen to say he's making a cup of tea and does Peter want one. Peter agrees.
Peter drinks it and then Bell starts to leave Olivia's body. Olivia comes to for just a second and asks Peter what's going on. Then Bell's back in her.
Where did he go?
Am I the only one who thought, "Peter, you idiot, don't drink a cup of tea!" I mean that's how he set Olivia up.
If he gets into Peter, then that could be how Peter ends up destroying one world (our world or the alternative). There's been much made about destiny all along but Bell, in this episode, couldn't shut up about destiny.
So I'm not trusting him.
I am looking forward to this week's episode.
My one big complaint with the Bell in Olivia storyline? Nina. No one's told her. Isn't that something you'd expect Bell or Walter to immediately do?
