Okay, in the world, Tim Mak (POLITICO) reports:
The day after the White House expressed regret about President Barack Obama’s use of the phrase “Polish death camps,” the Prime Minister of Poland on Wednesday said the administration’s statement didn’t go far enough and called on the U.S. to “end this with class.”
“We always react in the same way when ignorance, lack of knowledge, bad intentions lead to such a distortion of history, so painful for us here in Poland, in a country which suffered like no other in Europe during World War II,” said Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in a statement Wednesday. “The words uttered yesterday by the president of the United States Barack Obama concerning ‘Polish death camps’ touched all Poles.”
I can't believe it. Barack still won't apologize. He's a stubborn ass.
He made a huge and insulting mistake.
Hey, today Kathie Lee Gifford spoke to Martin Short. She kept asking him if he still loves his wife. His wife died 2 years ago. Gifford didn't know that. When she found, she immediately issued an apology.
Kathie Lee Gifford is more of a leader than Barack Obama. Can you believe that?
But that's how it turned out.
I agree with Cedric and Wally, read their take from this morning:
Barack's such a wuss for refusing to apologize. What a weasel.
